Real-Time UX Intelligence Is Changing iGaming

In a recent conversation with SiGMA World, our Chief Commercial Officer, Mitch Vidler, discusses the industry trends reshaping operator strategies. Competition is intensifying as stricter advertising rules continue to roll out, meaning operators are becoming less reliant on acquisition-led growth and placing greater emphasis on retention, customer experience and share of wallet. Mitch explores this shift, alongside the evolving role of pricing and promotions, and how real-time intelligence is increasingly shaping commercial decision-making.

When most brands offer similar games, platforms and payment methods, it is hard to get ahead of the competition. Adding to this difficulty is that competitor monitoring is primarily manual across the industry. Mitch explains that there are two main reasons for this:

1. An inward-looking industry.

2. The sheer volume and variation of promotions make it difficult to track.

To highlight this point, across five UK sportsbooks last month, there were over 400 different promotions and more than 5,000 boosts - an impossible task to collect manually.
